Many moms in the app note the date of their first kick in the journal. It's a lovely memory for later.

Early movements feel like flutters, bubbles or a gentle tapping — easy to miss at first.

From about 28 weeks, get to know your baby's usual pattern. If movements reduce or change, contact your doctor or hospital the same day — don't wait.

An anterior placenta (at the front) can cushion kicks, so you may feel them a little later.
